Cancer treatment centers of America joins Oncology Translational Research …

CTCA was introduced to the network through their collaborative support General TORI to stand up to cancer (SU2C), the entertainment industry Foundation's national programs. Similarly, SU2C is designed to accelerate groundbreaking research through collaboration.

"CTCA will be an asset for TORI," said John Glaspy, MD, M.p.h., co-chief Hematology and Oncology Division at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. "Their ability to treat cancer of late stage and complex, while also providing complementary support, therapy and their commitment to get innovative therapy to a patient's bedside faster would be essential to our research program."

While the CTCA Philadelphia and hospital Zion, Illinois, will be the first to participate in the program, patients from all four CTCA sites across the country will soon have access to clinical trials that are available through a network of TORI. CTCA is one of only 23 National Cancer Treatment Centre to be accepted into the network of TORI, and Philadelphia location is the first and only hospital in the northeastern United States to have access to the trials.

Cook meets craft

Freetail brewing to expand operations in the San Antonio

Freetail Brewing Co. is gearing up for a statewide distribution of all the legal changes brewpub.

Freetail Brewing Co., which will celebrate the third anniversary of the start next Friday, plan what founder and CEO of Scott Metzger characterizes as the formation of San Antonio's largest brewing facility expansion to date.

Metzger says artificial pub, located on Loop 1604 near NW military Highway, will install a bottling line new this year.

At this time, Texas law prohibited BREW pub selling beer to wholesalers and distributors. They, however, were allowed to sell packaged products directly to consumers at their place.

Metzger helped spearhead efforts during the session of the legislature of Texas 2011 to try and change the laws that ban the sale of the premise by pub drinks.

Boil water Advisories remained in effect throughout the area
